Terms of Service

What the service is

Shortlisted reads your CV against a job, shows you where you are weak, and runs realistic AI voice interviews so you can practise. It is a practice tool. It does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or any particular outcome.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date. An account is for one person.

Acceptable use

When you use the service, you agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or anything unlawful.
• Misuse, copy, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use it to harass others or to break the law.

Free gap analysis and paid practice

Creating an account and running your gap analysis is free. Practising out loud uses interview credits. Your first interview is free; after that you buy a one-off pack to continue.

Packs, credits and payments

Packs are one-off purchases, not a subscription, taken through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax as calculated there.

Single and Prep pack credits stay on your account until used. Campaign access lasts 60 days from purchase. Credits are personal to your account and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

Refunds

Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Because packs unlock digital content you use on demand, a credit that has been used to run an interview is treated as consumed.

AI-generated content

Your analysis, questions, the interviewer and your feedback are produced by AI. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Treat it as practice and a guide, not as professional, legal, financial or career advice, and use your own judgement.

Intellectual property

The Shortlisted product, its design and its content are owned by us. What you upload remains yours; by uploading it you give us the permission we need to process it in order to provide the service to you.

Availability

We work hard to keep the service running, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may carry out maintenance.

Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes of any job application or interview. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will update this page and the date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
